Services

What is involved in making your site "wireless"?


• We can create an entire new wireless site or application for you or use your existing HTML site as a template to create a wireless equivalent in a language such as WML (wireless markup language). This is generally a manual process since most HTML sites cannot be converted directly due to inclusions of Java applets, Flash, plug-ins, multimedia, HTML-specific page formatting, and many other characteristics that are not compatible with mobile devices. However, we have developed and utilize our "Paladin ML Toolkit", which is an application that allows us to expedite the conversion, generation, and validation of various markup language formats.
  
  
• Another service we offer is to create or convert data into XML (extensible markup language) format or use existing XML. This would then be combined with the XSLT (extensible style sheet language transformation) server technologies that we run, and allow multiple device types to access the single XML source, transformed into multiple languages automatically.
  
  
• Once the data is converted into a wireless language, our servers can serve up these files as content to mobile devices that are connected to the Internet. In most cases the mobile operator for cellular phones (Fido, Rogers, Telus, etc) provides the network access to the Internet.
